  1. same difference between English and Chinese. they're totally different. the Spanish lent some words to Filipinos but that doesn't mean it's tagalog.


  2. Tagalog is spoken in the Philippines.

    Spanish is spoken in different variations in Spain, Mexico, South America, and probably elsewhere.

  4. Just because Spain ruled the Philippines for three centuries does not mean that Tagalog, from local dialects, is related to Spanish. Aside from loan words, it is not related at all.
