What's the difference between Tata sky and Dish tv?

tata sky is a satellite television service in India. it uses standard Ku band equipment such as those used by Sky TV with some form of encription . Dont know if there is a Dish tv in India but in the US there is Dish network that is also a pay satellite tv service that uses proprietary circular polarity dishes
