  1. Cobra is definitely cheaper and just as good, i bought Speed LD for £179 new.  Callaway FT i  - £349.

  2. Can't believe you are asking this question if you are turning Pro, if you were that good, all the makers would be offering you a go with their clubs!

  3. how obvious was it that you were being sarcastic.  I can't believe people actually gave you lip for that.

Check out the prices at your local shop and test them both again.  It could be a fluke your first time.  Don't invest until you hit them a few times.

  4. You're turning pro next week, but you want a bunch of random people to tell you the difference between the drivers???

If you hit the ball further & straighter, then I suggest sticking with the Cobra. There's probably not too much of a difference in price.

Edit: There are a lot of people that claim to be much better than they are, so while I didn't think you were turning pro, I thought you might have really wanted us to think you were. Last I saw these, both were around $200-$300 I think and I believe the Berthas had started to come down. The Cobra Speed series has a lot of options fo different swing speeds, so it would be best to try it out at a shop with a hitting area and knowledgable staff to get some feedback.
