What's the difference between a TI-83+ and TI-84+ graphing calculator?

Is there any significant difference other than memory?

Anyone used a TI-Nspire yet? How good is it?

  1. The TI-84 Plus has more memory like you said, and it is also a bit faster (though this hardly matters since the calculators are already pretty fast as they are).

    TI-83 Plus is sufficient for high school or post-secondary use but if the two things above are thing you want and you can afford the extra price attached to it, then there's nothing wrong with going with the "more advanced" model.  I personally own a 83+ and it has yet to fail me after five years...
