What's the difference between a city and a town?

  1. A city has a cathedral usually but some don't, and no towns do. Also the population has to be over a certain amount to become a city.


  2. a city is bigger,more populated,louder. a town is smaller and quieter.

  3. A city has a cathedral and it doesn`t have to be a big place. Ely in Cambridgeshire UK only has a population of 16,000 people.
