im thinking of getting an ion, and would like to know if there it is possible for the ion to use either type of air, and if one is better than the other.

i'd also like to know if there is a nitro tank that anyone recommends that is at a fair price with good quality.

  1. Don't take Richard K's advice. CO2 is extremely inefficient. It messes with a lot of guns' internals (Especially electrics) because of the condensation that it puts into the gun, and it stops you from shooting for a long time because it loses pressure when you are shooting for more than like 5 seconds. All the high end guns MUST use Nitrogen. Just get a Pure Energy nitro tank.

  2. I should imagine that this would be a little dangerous, CO2 is about 1000psi, nitrogen can be 3000+, could damage (kill) you as well as knacker your gun.

  3. I wouldn't use Co2. The Co2/HPA/Nitrogen runs through the circuit board and at a high rate of fire the Co2 could get the electricals wet. And we all know that isn't good.
