  1. in the USA: in a nutshell:

    colleges offer bachelor's degrees

universities offer BAs and higher degrees like MAs and PhDs

  2. At college one can get their academics out of the way or get some kind of a vocational degree, mostly.  If one wants to become a teacher or a doctor one would have to go to University to further their degree.

  3. College is something you do after school.

    Then it's uni after college.

College do qualifications like b-tecs, a-levels etc.

And uni's are more complex and you can pick if you want to go to uni after you have completed college.

Like you can do degree's and stuff at uni.

But it depends on your grades.

If this isnt helpful then type it into Google (:

  4. A college is a specialty, like a beauty college, or a business college.

A university is a collection of colleges.

A university has many specialties, there could be a college  of education, a history college, a Law College, ect.

Universities often open branch colleges in different places, offering a smaller selection of the courses offered on a University Campus.

You get about same amount of work, and grades are still computed the same, and are transferrable between colleges, but simplier if all the colleges are inside the same University System.

    Does this help?
