What's the difference between a cyclone and a hurricane?

Question

Aren't they the same thing? If they are the same, why is it sometimes called a cyclone (Burma) and sometimes called a hurricane (US)?

Look it up on wikipedia and you can find out a LOT of interesting things about them. It is essentially the same name for storms that form in different parts of the world.
