What's the difference between a left/right brained person?

Okay, I've been seing a lot of left/right brain tests on the internet, and I took three. All three of them said I used my left brain hemisphere more. What does that mean? What is the difference between someone who uses their left or right brain more? And I've also heard which one you use more affects what your dominant hand is. Is this true

  1. The theory goes like this:

    LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS

    uses logic

    detail oriented

    facts rule

    words and language

    present and past

    math and science

    can comprehend

    knowing

    acknowledges

    order/pattern perception

    knows object name

    reality based

    forms strategies

    practical

    safe

    RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS

    uses feeling

    "big picture" oriented

    imagination rules

    symbols and images

    present and future

    philosophy & religion

    can "get it" (i.e. meaning)

    believes

    appreciates

    spatial perception

    knows object function

    fantasy based

    presents possibilities

    impetuous

    risk taking

But there really isn't any hard evidence to support this theory. The best evidence is that different areas of the brain support each other. For some actual science about brain function, see this article:

  2. nothing really except the hand you use like the right or left one depicts what side of  the brain you use

  3. The difference is, which approach in life you are in the HABIT of taking...

The 'hand theory' is more vague, because some cultures forbid the use of left-hand dominance, so it doesn't always apply!
