  1. I am 154% sure.

Usually all three are under the same company. (e.g. GoDaddy.com)

Registrar - Holds registrant, administration and technical contact of the domain name.  It also holds DNS information on where to result the IP address of that domain name.  Registrars are required to supply this information to top level domain DNS servers around the world. (e.g. http://www.register.com)

Web space provider - Is basically synonymous with a web host.  Usually a "web space provider" simply provides space for you to put up personal web pages (e.g. http://www.tripod.lycos.com/)

Host - Hosts usually have shared or dedicated servers in which they host web sites either run by them or you depending on your payment plan. (e.g http://www.hostrocket.com/)

  2. I am not 100% sure but the registrar is company from which you buy your name. For example www.MyWebsite.com. They are also the ones that link your website's name with the Host's (web space Provider's) IP address. The Host is where your website lives and is accessed from. It is just a big storage that gets access  to the world wide web.

Every computer has a IP address but instead of using the IP address we use website names. Mostly because they are just easier to remember. After you get a new website name and you provide the registrar with your host's IP, the registrar then provides the information to the DNS, which is like a huge website name to IP converter. The DNS checks the name of the page (www.MyWebsite.com) and finds the IP, so your computer can now load the information form that page. It is a bit more complicated that that, but it will give you an idea.

You should go to GoDaddy.com if you want to make a fast cheap page. They provide you with a free .com, .net .etc name and it is cheap overall.

Godaddy.com is both a host and a registrar.

BTW, don't buy the extra features. They are expensive and useless. After you pick what you want, just press "no Thanks" for extra offers and you will be brought to the checkout menu.

  3. As you may know a domain name is just a name, not a real website. If you are going to create your website: 1- Buy a domain name. To get a domain name, you have to pay an annual fee to a registrar for the right to use that name. 2- Buy a web hosting service to provide your online space and enable you to get your website online at your purchased domain name.

If you want to start your website I recommend purchase your domain and hosting together. In this way it is possible to get your domain for free. Some hosting services offer this gift today.

One of these services is reachable at: http://bluehost-service.atspace.com . As an experienced webmaster I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. Their service is really great and easy to use. This company also offers "Free Site Builder" that helps you build your web pages without difficulty if you are not skilled in using any website creating program.
