2008 DeMarini RAW STEEL Slowpitch Bat - DXRAW. I am searching the quality of this bat and it is a single barrell and I am hoping to find out if a single is worth the savings or should i get a double?

  1. Wow, don't listen to these guys.  The difference between single wall and double wall bats is astronomical.  The only single wall bat worth buying is a demarini white steel.  Don't get the Demarini Raw Steel, it's junk.  Anyway, double wall bats provide a bigger sweet spot and increased distance, and improved durability.  But now days, if your league will allow it, you need to get a composite bat if you don't mind dishing out the dough. Composites are a step above everything else.  You can get an amazing bat on ebay right now for about $150.  Search for a "Mizuno Techfire Wrath".  Make sure it's the ASA model.  Unbelievable bat for the money.

  2. for slow pitch a single barrel will do fine...........................

  3. I would recommend that you go single barrel.  All a double barrel bat is is a bat with an extra piece of thin metal around it. the outside metal takes all the wear and tear, while you still have a good bat on the inside. It doesn't help you hit the ball farther or harder.
