What's the difference between a social worker and a social worker technician???

I know there's a difference in the program length, but what's the difference between what they can do and the pay they receive?

  1. a social worker is one on the field. on the other hand the social worker technician is one that does the program of the social work. ^_^


  2. The social worker can render decisions on specific cases which are binding until or unless they are overturned on appeal to a higher authority within the social services hierarchy.

    The technician provides clerical and administrative support to the social worker.
