What's the difference between a toyota prius and a toyota prius touring?

The Touring has a higher base price, has 16 inch wheels instead of the regular Prius's 15s, has a larger spoiler on the back, supposedly has a "sport tuned suspension" and has more goodies as standard instead of as part of an option package.

The Touring edition became a new Prius trim line beginning with the 2007 model year.

says "The new 2007 Prius Touring Edition provides more spirited driving responses due to its European-tuned suspension and 16-inch alloy wheels. The Prius Touring Edition is distinguished externally by the new wheels, a larger rear spoiler, High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps and integrated fog lamps."

So, the HID headlamps and foglamps are standard on the Touring edition (they're in some option packages otherwise).  The Touring Edition has the 16" wheels (same wheel size as Europe) instead of the basic US 15" wheels.  The US Touring edition has a larger rear spoiler than the base US Prius.  And there's the "tuned suspension" that is supposedly more like the European cousin, but I haven't read the 2007 Toyota New Car Features manual yet to say what is different about the suspension.  There are also some interior/exterior color options that are different between the base and touring edition Prius.

As such, the US Touring edition Prius has a starting $23,370 MSRP, while the base Prius has a starting $21,500 MSRP.
