  1. marina:  A boat basin that has docks, moorings, supplies, and other facilities for small boats.

Wharf: a structure built on the shore of or projecting into a harbor, stream, etc., so that vessels may be moored alongside to load or unload or to lie at rest; quay; pier.

Harbor:  A sheltered part of a body of water deep enough to provide anchorage for ships.

  2. Wharf - A dock that is fixed in place and is generally pretty high off the water. The term can also be applied to a boardwalk that is on the water.

Harbor - A naturally sheltered area where boats can anchor, travel, moor, etc. without fear of severe weather.

Marina - A location where boats are kept, either tied to a dock or on a mooring.
