  1. Why does this matter to you? Are you insecure about the description. It's only a label. If it bugs you it's a problem you have with the terminology. Girls, women. adults, ladies. What's the problem?

If people within society 'pigeon hole' others because of labelling, well it may be sad but it's not really an important issue is it?

If some harm were caused, then I can understand your concerns, if that's what they are. Or are you just 'bored'.

  2. There isn't much of a difference. Just 2-3 years of life.

  3. The 18 year old female is typically done developing at that age, the younger female is not yet. That is a major difference for the woman. The legal age to vote for any gender is that also. The woman will have different dr. visits at 18 as well then. This starts a turning point in her maturing biologically.

  4. It's somewhere between 2 and 3 years.

  5. Well it doesn't matter if you have had s*x when you are 12 or 18 many people may consider you a s**t but that is your burden to live with when you chose s*x anyways. A woman at the age of 18 is a grown person because they may be more mature whether that be physically or mentally. An 18 year old person is old enough to vote so they are consider an adult anyways. Teenagers are usually in school unless they decide to drop out.

  6. The difference is about 2 or 3 years . not much difference ,really .

Still too young for me !

  7. still need time to mature and make responsible dcisions, which by 18 is still doubtful.

Also it is defined by the law.

  8. Simple Answer: Society.

It is a "rule" that was determined "acceptable" and nobody has thought about changing the meaning. Simple. Don't get hung up on it. Grow up. Be mature. Be intelligent. To blazes with the world if they think of you as a "teenager" or "woman".

Grow up and stop trying to CREATE situations. Life is too short to spend it this way. Go be yourself. Let the world judge you by what they SEE in you and not by your age.

Personally I think a teenager who has "had sexual intercourse, etc." is not a very BRIGHT INTELLIGENT person, regardless of age. You see CHILDREN/TEENS do not stop to logically think about all the WRONGS that come with sexual intercourse (HIV, STD, unwanted or unplanned pregnancy, etc.)

  9. a little more life experience.

  10. woman is 18  like she is mature to take any riaht decission but teenager live in dream

  11. I would say about 12 months in jail.

  12. Not much really. I suppose it depends on her experiences in life for example an 18yo who has had no responsibilities such as children or a job or the loss of parents will not be very mature and will be quite dependant upon others to help her along her way until she is a little older but if she had gone through those life experiences I mentioned earlier then I would expect her to be very mature and responsible and be quite an independent person who can draw upon her own personal experiences to help her along her life path.

  13. Well, the 18 year old is older for a start.

  14. 2 - 3 years of experience

  15. No difference, you're still a teenager.

  16. Answer:  ''Two years of life's experiences'' ~ and an age reached where she is 'legally responsible for herself' and all that this entails with regards to her obligations and freedoms etc.

    Sash.

  17. the 18 year old can vote, drink alcohol, buy cigarettes, buy a house, etc. physically, there is not much, but the person can mature greatly in those couple of years

  18. Just a bit more experience.

  19. its the law....dur.

you have to be 18 before classed as an adult.

  20. One can only assume that you are not mature enough to understand.
