My son and I both have seasonal allergies but instead of being runny, like the antihistamine bottle says, they are stuffy. But we have all the other symptoms like itchy eyes and sneezing. Can someone help me?

  1. steam inhalations along with zyrtec ,

  2. Allergic responses differ between people, the medicine just lists what are common symptoms.  Both allergies and colds are immune responses, but colds are to an actual virus where the allergies are to something your body thinks is a virus or bacteria but isn't.

Most colds don't have itchy eyes, unless it's pink eye.  You could try taking the medicine and see if it helps your symptoms.  If it does then I'd chalk it up to allergies.

  3. Could go to a allergist, get tested and get medication eye drops

Over the counter medicine is hard to choose
