I think they have already gave you a good definition. What I think it is more interesting to know is all the types of organic mass that you can use to create biofuels: wood, algae, bacteria...

Basically biodiesel is a type of biofuel.  But you can also have biofuels that work in gasoline engines rather than diesel engines.  See the link below for further details.
