What's the difference between bleaching your hair blond and dying your hair blond and which is better?

I want my hair to be blond but i dont want to damage my hair. Oh, im a boy.

Bleaching removes all the pigment in your hair , and dying it adds pigment

Depends on how light you want it. If you color it, you can only get it to a level 10 safely without damage. Bleach will bring the hair to almost platinum. However, bleach is very damaging.

You could only dye your hair blonde if its already a light shade, otherwise it won't change the color.
