What's the difference between china and North Korea??

  1. there is a big diffrece, like for example, the land north korea has is smaller then china's. China also has a better past then north korea in my opinion. And the language used in China is diffrent then the language used in North korea.

China is much more free, in a relative sense.  Clearly censorship, arbitrary detention, forced labor, and a massive police entity exist but it is not like North Korea where people live in virtual isolation from the outside world.  North Korea is run like Stalin ran the USSR, China is closer to the way Gorbachev ran the USSR.

    China has a strong self sufficient economy.  North Korea relies on food and fuel donations from the US, China, and South Korea to survive.  North Korea, unlike China and South Korea who have both hosted the Olympics, would be unable to provide the required infrastructure to do so.    

  3. China's got all the money.
