What's the difference between cute, pretty and hot?

ok i know this sounds really stupid, but i'm a bit confused

In my opinion, cute can be used to describe a baby to a young male or female with attractive looks. pretty can be used to describe a young girl to a young woman. hot would be, a male or female who's in their prime with a very attractive face and body.
