  1. goals are points but the points are also added with assists, so the goals and assists = points!

  2. Points include goals and assist together it's simple

  3. wooooow waw you gotta be kidding me. its the same as nhl

  4. goals are goals points are

goals and assists combined into one stat

  5. Goals are what the Red Wings score.  Points are what they attain for the games they win because of the goals they score.  The Red Wings have a lot of both every year.

  6. goals are the number of goals you score

points are the number of goals you score, plus assists

    example-

    20 goals

    30 assists

    50 points

  7. Points = Goals + Assists.

  8. a goal equals a point.  an assist equals a point.  combined you get your total points.  they list them separately instead of just clumping it all into a basic total points category for hockey nerds like us that need to know how each point was earned.

  9. Goals can only be scored by getting a goal...a player can score a point for a goal OR an assist

  10. a goal is when u shoot it in the net. points are the sum of the amount of assists + goals. an assist is when u pass to another player who scores

  11. points are a players goals and assists put together.

for example, a player will get an assist if they pass the puck to a teammate that scores

    or...

if a player skates all the way down the ice and scores without help from teammates, then no assist is awarded to anyone.

  12. )goals is how many times you are the person to shoot the puck in the net

points is the the total of  goals and assists (if you dont already know, an assist is when you pass the puck  to the person who scores. 2 assists can be given for 1 goal so if i passed to you and you passed to bob and he scores, he would get the goal and we would get the assists)

  13. Goal is when someone scores. Points are the combined totals of goals and assists.

  14. a person that actually scores a goal gets the credit for scoring the goal and then there are players who get credited fror assists on those goals and those are credited as points for example if a player hets 15 goals and 20 assists the player will have 35 points total so that isthe where they get more points is by assisting a player for a goal

    hope  that helped you out

  15. Points are a combination of goals and assists, but goals are just goals

  16. Points are goals and assists added together

    Goals are just goals

  17. a goal is a goal and a point is recieved for every goal and assist.  so the number of points is the number of goals and assists added up.
