What's the difference between hot springs and freshwater springs?

please if you're answering this question try not to use technical language because your answer would be as good as useless if i don't understand it.

  1. A hot spring is a hole in the ground where hot water is pouring out. A freshwater spring is cold fresh water coming out from the ground. You can drink the water from a fresh water spring.


  2. Simply. A hot spring is hot. Fresh water springs are cold.
