What's the difference between iced coffee and iced latte?

i went to starbucks and ordered an iced latte for first time and it looks/tastes just like regular iced coffee. so really what is the difference between the two??

  2. Hey, trinitiynn is wrong about how we make iced lattes.

    Iced coffee is not the same thing as a latte, we brew coffee double strength and then ice it. It doesn't have any milk in it unless you ask for it.

    Iced lattes are made with espresso and cold milk and ice.

    We do NOT steam the milk and then ice it, that would be a health code violation.

  4. The latte is mostly milk and the other is mostly water.

  5. Iced coffee is made with regular brewed coffee whereas iced latte is made with a shot or two of espresso & steamed milk, and then iced.
