I was just wondering what's the meaning of less foam (wet) and extra foam (dry)?

what difference does it make to the hot coffee? (both less/extra foam)

Thanks!~

  1. Extra foam means that you get a little less coffee to make room for the extra foam, which is just air. I always stir the foam into the coffee anyway.

  2. Foam is useless as anything but an unattractive healthy substitute for whipped cream.  Extra foam doesn't make any difference in relation to your coffee except that there is less of it and vise versa for less foam.  Personally, unless you're one of the few who actually likes the taste of bubblyairmilk or it is an essential part of your drink (as in a cappuccino), I'd recommend asking for no foam.
