What's the difference between low-rise and high rise mens briefs?

I need underwear and Jockey underwear is on sale. Whats the difference between the high and low rise briefs though? Im not sure what I have no and not sure which to buy.

  1. high rise is like granny underwear for older men.  Low rise is for younger men.
