What's the difference between micro processors Santa Rose Core Duo and AMD Turionâ„¢ 64 X2 Dual-Core?

i compared with other processors, really but i didn't understand anything here, is there anybody, who can explain it to me. :(

  1. The Santa Rose is made by Intel - the AMD is obvious - AMD. Performance - Intel wins this fight.


  2. I think Santa Rose is a chipset or motherboard. In general, if you want to compare any Intel processor with an AMD processor I have found Diffen (http://diffen.com/difference/Special:Com... ) to be a good resource.
