  1. Passion for playing, rugby league has more.

Union is normaly full of posh boys who are doctors sons ect.

  2. Rugby isnt necessarily a "s****." game and is played by many island nations such as Tonga, Samoa and Fiji. It is commonly played in UK,france,NZ,aus and south africa. The major difference in rules is in league, you team is allowed 5 runs with the ball, each run ending with the opposition player bringing them to ground (tackle). AT the completion of these tackles it is common to kick the ball in an offensive manner. in Rugby union you must release the ball when tackled, forming a ruck where players compete for possession. mauls are also common, where players bind onto each other  whilst in possession of the ball, this in open play, then attempt to push the ball and their team down the field trying to gain territory. League try (the placing of the ball in an opponents end zone) is worth 4 points where union is worth 5. league is more front on and straightforward running and can be quite predictable at times, where union is much more varied with various other ways to gain ground, and to gain possesion rather than simpyl running it. league is more physical and rougher where as union involves a greater range of skills, rather than mere brute strength.

  3. Rugby League is a simple game played by simple people.

Rugby Union is a complex game played by wa.nkers

  4. Sophistication

  5. Rugby league is a 13-a-side game, where rugby union is played by 15 players on the pitch. Rugby union is the much more popular version in the world, also the salaries of player are also a lot higher.

  6. Up until ten years or so ago, you would say that league was a professional game, whereas union was amatuer, along with differing numbers of players.  Since union turned pro, league has sinced up the game too, and moved to a summer sport. But the are different sports, with different rules and vastly different skills
