What's the difference between someone considered a ****, and just a promiscuous woman?

I know there has to be a difference, because some people have respect for certain women who just choose to live promiscuously, but then there are certain people that are labelled as s***s for some reason. Are their motives different or something?

I think both words imply something is wrong with the person, so, to me, both imply an offense.

For me there isn't one. I think that promiscuous women are s***s, and I think that promiscuous men are what hubs has dubbed "man whores". It is a lifestyle that i think is seriously immoral.

There is no difference. You either have s*x only with your husband or you are a s**t or promiscuous woman. Neither terms are good for anyone. Yes, men are s***s too when the s***w around.
