  2. 64 bit os is for 64 bit processors like amd athlon 64

    64 bit os can run faster than 32 bit os

    64 bit os gives a slight edge when playing games

    64 bit os can run 64 bit apps and 32 bit apps but not vice versa

    64 bit os can recognise ram over 4gb. 32 bit os can only recognise up to 4gb.
