  2. ACTs are more for specific subjects like English or Math while the SATs are for all the subjects. Some colleges only need an SAT score while some only want an ACT score. Some even require both. So you can take the ACT if you want to focus on a certain subject, but I believe most schools look at your SAT score.

  3. The ACT is a more high school level test, while the SAT is a collegelevel. If you are high school going into college the ACT is the best option. If you just got done with your basic college classes the SAT will help you get into a higher level more specialized college, (ie: law school, medical school, technacle school, etc.) Though what you take is totally up to you.
