What's the difference between these three sentences?

1) Reading books quickly isn't useful.

2) The quick reading of books isn't useful.

3) The quick read of books isn't useful.

Can you tell me why they are differente? T_T

  1. the first is concise, and is grammatically correct

    the second is not necessarily incorrect, just more confusing than it has to be

    the third isn't quite grammatically correct


  2. well the first one is correct the 2nd we dont use. and the 3rd is TOTALLY wrong! =]

  3. I would personally user #1 as a tip. Hey buddy reading books quickly isn't useful. Slow down some.

    #2 is kind of a statement. I realized the quick reading of books isn't useful like slow reading.

    #3 is kinda unproper grammer of #2
