What's the difference between these tv's/?

whats the difference between...Flat Screen, LCD, and Plasma??? Arent they all the same? ANd HDtv is build in all of these right?

  2. HDTV isnt always built in..

    theres SDTV, EDTV

    LCD is between 2 pieces of glass there is liquid crystal diode, and a backlight that heats up the crystal and makes it stretch to create natural light and color.. and is 30% more energy efficient than a plasma, but has a refresh rate of 60-120hz

    A plasma uses xenon gas instead of crystal diode, and is the only TV that can project natural blacks, and has a refresh rate of 480hz, but can get really hot, and have burnin..

    flat screen can be a LED, LCD, plasma..

    LED is projection which i wouldnt recommend buying..

  3. no hd is not built in a flat screen because a flat screen is pretty much the old style tvs with a flat screen lcd and plasma do though
