What's the difference between these two adderall pills??

effects, etc. they should both be 20mg.

if someone were to switch from pill 1 to pill 2, what should they expect?

  1. It looks like one is XR and the first one is regular Adderall (which is generic now so they will vary from maker to maker)


  2. The difference between the two are regular and extended-release. If you were on the regular and you switch to the extended-release, the most obvious thing you'll notice is a less frequent dose, typically once per day, instead of multiple doses. You'll have to ask your doctor or pharmacist about any change in side effects. (Personally I wouldn't think there'd be a difference).
