I've been looking at different ebay listings of Nike golf balls and each one has a different number of "A's" in front of it. What does that mean?

  1. they stand for the condition in which the balls are in. the more A's, the better condition the golf balls are in.

  2. The difference will really only exist if the grading is coming from the same seller as there is no universally recognized grading system. One seller's AAA may be another seller's AAAA and so on and so forth. I am personally not a huge fan of used balls, but that's just me.

  3. They are used. AAA and AAAA are the condition they are in. They are just telling you that they are in near new condition like you wouldn't know the difference if you played them. And you won't really. Most people I know play with refurbished and recycled balls and they are low handicappers like me so there you go.
