  1. Normally Foundation Is A Liquid.  You Put On The Liquid First && Then Your Powder.  Some People Use Both Some Use Only One.  Most People Refer To Them Both As The Same Thing... "Foundation."

  2. ok well foundation is a liquid and is applied with a damp sponge to the entire face leaving skin with an even tone

powder is exactly its name its powder and usually applied with a puff powder leaves your face matte but gives you that flawless complexion

i use a colored foundation and follow with a sheer or translucent powder so my face doesnt look like a mask also try tinted moistureizers they are a lot lighter than foundation but gives the same affect leaving your skin soft

  3. There are at least 5 kinds of foundation:

    Liquid,mousse,wet-to-dry, POWDER, and stick foundation.

Liquid is best for begginers because mistakes can be sponged away.

If you have a mousse kind then dont use to much. it will look fake

Wet-to-dry is good for people with oily skin but dont use powder with it cause it will look cake-y

Powder can be used by itself to make you face look more silky. It also helps control shine.DO NOT use on dry skin though cause it will make your skin look even more flakey.

Stick foundation is usually only for spot on appliction. like to cover up a pimple or sumthing. DO NOT and i repeat DO NOT use all over you face. it is WAYY to heavy for that!!!!

    hope i helped

  4. Foundation is liquid and powder is just what is powder. Now they do have powder in a creamy type of base as well. Similiar to foundation. It depends on a person's preference of what type of makeup they choose and depending on skin type as well. I would use one or the other. I've been using Revlon's foundation for combination skin with botox firming in it. I don't use powder because it's really doing the same job as foundation. Powder can be used alone if you want to achieve a more subtle look. Foundation can be used if you want to achieve some color but make sure to blot and not get that ring look around your face. Cornsilk and Clinique make the best powders.
