What's the difference listed below with chinese food:?

Mongolian, Szechwan, Mandarin and I think Singapore Style.

  1. Those are provinces or regions of China, and those types of foods are considered to be "regional".  Just like southern cooking is  completely different from the Southwest.

    Mongolian uses a lot of hot peppers and beef.

    Szechwan is another that uses a lot of hot peppers, but incorporates a lot of meats and fish (uh, coastal).

    Mandarin is from that area of China...and Singapore is a mish-mash of all of them.

  4. In the USA it doesn't mean anything.  Because, they get everything from the same supplier.  You need to go th CHINA or Hong Kong.  Or watch "No reservation"
