  1. vso  is the stalling speed of an aricraft in its landing configuration   full flaps    landing gears extended

vs1    is the stalling speed in its clean configuration,,,   flaps landing gears up

  2. The above answers are correct.

In order to remember, think of Vso as Stall speed with your "Stuff Out" (landing gear, flaps, etc)

Vs is the clean configuration stall speed.

Vs1 is the stall speed in "a specified configuration"  you'll have to consult you POH to determine exactly what that configuration is.

  3. Vso is the power off stall speed in the landing configuration.  (Bottom of the white arc when at maximum allowed gross weight)

Vs1, Vs2, Vs3...... are stall speeds in specified power, weight, and/or configuration combinations.  (Usually an intermediate flap setting).

Vs is the power off stall speed in cruise configuration.  (Bottom of the green arc when at maximum allowed gross weight)

  4. VS is the stalling speed or the minimum steady flight speed at which the aircraft is controllable. (bottom of the white arc)

VS0 is the stalling speed or the minimum steady flight speed in the landing configuration.

VS1is the stalling speed or the minimum steady flight speed obtained in a specific configuration (usually a "clean" configuration without flaps, landing gear and other sources of drag).
