What's the different between a regular size golf ball and this one sold on amazon?

what's the difference? I just need golf ball for putt practice.

It's hard to say for sure, sometimes "junior" balls are made to help accommodate very slow swing speeds. This one doesn't comment one way or another as to weather it meets any standard regulation.

The size, external dimensions, will be the same. The weight  of the ball will be a little less. Six golf balls should weigh about ten ounces. The shipping weight for this total package, balls, cardboard sleeves, box and shipping material, is 10.4 ounces so I would assume that these balls are a little lighter.

Typically what you will find with Junior golf balls is that they have a lighter overall weight. This increases the distance for the slower swing speed of an junior golfer. Where as a junior would not benefit from 3 or 4 layer golf ball simply because they do not compress the ball as much. Also when juniors swing they usually don't pinch the ball especially with the mid irons and wedges like an adult or older junior. So the multi cores essentially never engage. For putting practice I would suggest getting a golf ball marking tool so that you can draw a better line on your ball. I feel that he lines even on the Pro V's are not long enough for putting practice.
