  1. Grief is a noun... it means bereavement, sorrow, something sad....

grieve katulad nung sabi nung isang nag sabi sa labas. it is how you do it... it is a verb.... ^_^

    thats it...

  2. Grief is a noun and greive is a verb

  3. grief is what you feel, grieve is how you do it

  4. i think that grieve is the thing you DO

    like the "action word"

  5. Besides a few minor examples I thought they were synonymous. One works better as a noun and one works better as a verb.

  6. Grief is an emotional state or a feeling, i.e. "The grief she felt was overwhelming" or "He is struggling through the grief that comes with losing a loved one."

Grieving is the act of expressing grief, i.e. "We still grieve the loss of our best friend a year later", "She grieves the loss of her brother", or "He grieved for years before he finally moved on from his wife's death."

Essentially, grief is the noun (person, place, thing, or idea), and "to grieve" is a verb (action).
