when in the army the sewer flooded and the basement got flooded with 9 feet of it so I wore this suit and breathing mask and swam around in it for a bit then got to work and did what I had to do with the suction tube, then had to hose it down etc etc. I was insulated so I guess it wasn't dirty at all.

The answer was easy for me - I only read the question when the answer came to me. When I was 16 I had to replace the clutch on a '67 Camero with an oil leak, using very few tools.  I did it, and I was covered head to toe in oil and grease when I was finished. Try cleaning that off!
