  1. Hello,

About 330 miles.  Takes about 4.5 hours by train to get from one to the other.

I think you'd be amazed at how afordable a trip to Italy can be.  Check out venere.com for hotels.  You'll be surprised at how inexpensive some of the hotels are.

  2. 244.45 miles

Found with a Yahoo Search:  distance between Rome and Venice

  3. 200 miles my guess

  4. I have visited Italy on several occasions. In my opinion these cities are completly different. In venice I imagine sitting peacefully in a cafe next to the water gazing at all of the gondola's going by. Everything is really romantic and quiet once you get off the beaten path.. Rome is crazy busy but has great shopping. If you are looking for high designer shopping you will want to pick Rome. I would say Rome reminds me a lot of New York but with a lot more historical sites around. I love Rome but it is not a relaxing city to me.

  5. It is exactly 530 km that is  330 miles.

    Ciao!!
