I'm not gonna answer your question. Instead I'm gonna tell you how to get the answer in a fun way. As we all know there are 360 degrees in a circle/sphere(earth) and one full revolution of the earth is 24 hours. so if you divide 360 degrees by 24 hours, you will come up with 15 degrees per hour. Now, I know that there are 60 nautical miles per degree(1nautical mile=1.151miles). go look for a globe and count the number of hours there are between the philippines and alaska and multiply that by 15 and you get the number of degrees. then multiply that by 60 and you get the distance in nautical miles and then multiply that by 1.151 and you get the distance in miles.
