  1. I absolutely hate it when the neighbors wake me up at 6 or 7 in the a.m. (especially on weekends) by running their mowers, chain saws, etc. So I would at least say no earlier than 8 a.m. And at any rate, you would want the dew to have dried up some. I understand that in some climates, such as the deep south where it is so hot during the later hours, that one would want to mow early. But I would guess around 8 a.m. and no earlier.

  2. 8AM weekdays and 9AM on weekends.

  3. I would say during the week after 9 or 930. The weekend 11.

  4. Many townships have an ordinance about using power equipment outdoors before and after certain times. In my township you are not allowed to mow before 8:00 AM.

Form the point of common courtesy and consideration of your neighbors, I would not mow earlier than that in any case.

  5. Usually 8 AM is OK, but if you have a neighbor who works late, find out when he goes to bed and adjust your time.  No later than 10 PM though.

  6. Once the grass is dry enough to mow

  7. I'm biased because I'm military, but our usual quiet hours are 10pm to 6am.   If you get an electric mower,  you shouldn't have any problem no matter what the time.  Cars are louder than electric mowers.
