What's the easiest way to encrypt emails?

Hi folks,

Using Outook (2003) what's the easiest way to encrypt an email?

Also, if this is possible, is it possible to encrypt without having to send any additional key/password to the recipient?

tool's>options>security>encrypt outgoing contents and attachments

Can also digitally sign messages so only intended receivers can view can check that out in the same spot but click the settings instead of checking the encrypt box
