What's the easiest way to get out to jfk by train.I'm closet to the 2,4,5 train.?

I need direction to get to jfk airport by train any information that you can give would be really helpful

  1. The subway map is your best friend:  http://www.mta.info/nyct/maps/submap.htm

    Basically you want to take the subway to where you can transfer onto the JFK Air Train, which will bring you to the airport.  So take a look at the map and see which one would be the most convenient for you:  Sutphin Boulevard on the E, J and Z lines, or Howard Beach on the A line.

  2. depending on where you're closest to you can either take the 2, 4, or 5 to fulton street and then take the J or Z to the JFK airport stop or the A to Howard Beach/JFK.  another option would be to  take the 2 to 34th and then take the LIRR to Jamaica.  You could also take the 2 to 34th and then take the A or E to JFK.  Once you get off the train, you take the AirTrain to the terminal you need to get to.  I'd go to hopstop.com and you can find the fastest/easiest way based on where you live (just in case any of my directions were incorrect)
