  1. Euro Rail

  2. For sure by train. If you go on the site (trenitalia.com) you can also find bargains like 15 euro for a ticket if you travel by night. Or you can choose the pendolino or eurostar, which are fast trains, they cost a bit more but you gain on time.No buses!

  3. Travel by train. Train service in Italy is pleasant and dependable.

  4. Trenitalia is the best choice. They have high speed very comfortable trains which make it in less than 4 hours.

Note that they also have reduced fares for those who book in advance. We spent only 15 Euros for a one way trip but these spots are very limited so hurry.

  5. The cheapest is probably Rome-Ciampino Milan-Bergamo by RayanAir. Booking enough in advance I paid 1€+taxes (about 20 € return ticket)  The problem is that Ciampino is outside Rome and Bergamo is a city at about 50 kms  (32 miles) from Milan. If you are in Rome downtown and want to go to Milan downtown, the best is the train. On www.trenitalia.it you can choose, book and buy a one way ticket...  Mind your pocket when walking in the train stations....

  6. www.ryanair.com

    fly rome ciampino- milan bergamo

  7. Take the train-www.trenitalia.it.  The site is accessable in English.  There are enough trains that you don't need to book in advance, but you may wish to if you definitely want a seat.

  8. there are frequent flights or if you like it just catch a train. The fastest one is called Eurostar and it stops only at the major stations. There are so many per day.

    I live in Italy.
