I am a photographer, fairly new to the whole digital world. I just bought a new computer, but it looks so different from my old computer and from my camera display. I don't want to do a bunch of photo work, only to find out it looks terrible on everyone else's computer.

  1. There are several different softwares out there designed for you to set your color, etc.

  2. Well, you can't fix everyone else's display, but you can fix your own with a calibrator.  Too many to list.  Search on Adorama.

  3. The best and only way to make sure the colors on your computer are accurate is to calibrate your monitor. There are many calibration programs available. Here is a link to some different software used to calibrate monitors.
