What's the easiest way to remove wallpaper from plaster?

  1. you will need

    a bucket of water mixed with 1 cup of frabric softner

    a large sponge

    score the wall paper lightly and cover with mixture, leave for about 2 mins, and start peeling, good luck.


  2. Try this wallpaper remover stuff called DIF.  You can get it at WalMart or probably any hardware store.  You just spray it on, wait about 15 minutes, and it peels the paper right off.

  3. I have heard that steaming will do it. You will need to rent a steam machine to do this. Make sure you know exactly what is under the wallpaper, so that you do not damage the wall. What kind of wallpaper is it? Vinyl, paper? Did you check to see if the wallpaper was strippable?
