What's the equation used for algebraic patterns?

Like 2, 7, 24, 59, 118, 207... (list next three)

There's an equation using "n" but I don't remember what it is.

It's the equation used to find any number in the sequence.

But I dunno what it is.

Can someone tell me the equation?

You guys don't have to solve the problem for me if you don't want. I mean, I have like 30 more of them to solve. lol

I just can't do any of them without knowing the equation. :/
