What's the farthest you've driven for food?

for example, I'll drive over 10 miles for Indian food or Thai food.

I've driven from West Palm Beach FL to Fort Lauderdale to get doubles(trinidad and tobago food) and Chicken Patties which is about 1 hr away. 40 miles away.

2 hours to Philly-there's a great Jamaican restaurant w/ an outdoor veranda that looks like the tropics and has great music.

30 Miles, Since I live in the mountains theres not many places to eat so we drive to a city 30 miles sometimes to get food. -_-

A few years ago, I drove 45 minutes to a Hardees, to try one of those monster 1600-calorie burgers.  It was big, and it tasted good, but it wasn't worth the trip.  Back then, the media was giving it a lot of attention.  Now, something like that comes out every 6 months.

I walked for 25 minutes to get bar be que sauce for myself....it was crazy "25 min" then  i slept for 2 days !

my husband and i love rally's burgers but the closest 1 to us is 45 minutes away. so sometimes we will make an excuse to go to that town just to get a rally's burger.

It took about 8 hours with  a 3 year old.

I frequently drive about 25 miles to get good chineese.

Can you believe: around 275 miles from Ohio to Toronto, CA during mango season, my parents were nuts for Indian mangoes!  We went yearly and stocked up on Indian groceries & supplies too.  Back in the day, there were very few Indian grocery stores and no Indian mangoes in the US so we went across the border to Canada!!

Personallly, I have driven from San Diego, CA to Rosarito, Mexico  many times (1.5 hrs) for wonderful fresh lobsters, shrimp & crabs...
